The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create new 6-month job placements for 16 – 24 year olds who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.
Kickstart is part of the UK Government’s Plan for Jobs tackling some of the impact of COVID 19 and aims to create hundreds and thousands of new, fully funded positions across England, Scotland and Wales.
Across Forth Valley, Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Councils have developed a regional gateway to support both local employers and young people to take advantage of the opportunities presented through the Kickstart scheme.
Eligible participants can be referred to vacancies through their local Job Centre Work Coach and or local employability support service.
Employers can apply for places by registering their interest through the "Business support" button above.
Please note – to apply for any of these vacancies you must have been referred by your DWP work coach.
